Just a glimpse in passing of raven haired youth
Flitting and preening before a mirror
Designed to enhance the wonder
Of vanity and self fantasy
Dressed for dinner at a restaurant
Romantic candles and wine
Sweet talk and unspoken promises
Waiter hovers to offer specials and drinks
But our lovers have eyes for each other
Everything else is irrelevant
