Darkness the season
Light seen no more
Moon beyond black cloud
Haunted by the night
The curtain flutters
Slowly envelops the room
Eating up stars
Devouring the moon
Inky blackness and nothing
Smothering of all feeling
A child screams
And whimpers
Blackness moving
Slithering evil presence
