A Nineteenth Century Pub

The stranger soul shields him
Among the robe of his transparent armor
Cobblestone walls embrace him
To meet the breathe of drunken youths
Intoxicated by the lust of youth
Lances in their hands they hunt
For the maidens who must run
Or be impaled on their prongs
Casting cobwebs of pyramids
Of lust and sacrificial burning
Descending amid the crowd of laughter
Tumbling to the tables
Drinking of the laughter and the lust
Fulfilled at last and sleeping
Those demons of youth
