Friends we are
Often required to consider
Ourselves less than valuable
Based on the sense of worth we
Perceive others to hold
On our true self
Thus we begin to devalue
Ourselves
And our world
To the detriment of
All things important
And harmonious
I ask you
To reconsider so
That in truly valuing self
We can better serve
All of mankind
And friendships true worth
