So here we are again at weeks end
I'm thinking of beer and BBQ
Mountain bikes and fishing trips
Friends and family over to eat
Laughter and teasing over photos
Old
Kids chasing kids and chasing dogs
Screaming and giggling, fighting, running
Sunlit tired bodies rest on the swing seat
Desultory conversations about plans and ambitions
Sudden animation as the truck pulls up outside
Big men carry packages into the lounge
When everyone leaves we can relax
Turn on the TV and sit on our new sofa
